I’m just a mummy concerned for her children. After being exposed to local national schools, convent schools, Islamic religious school, science government schools, and overseas public schools..yes I moved around quite a bit..after all that and conversing with people of various backgrounds, I felt I had to take a proactive approach in educating my own.

I want my children to be civic minded, with Islamically sound religious knowledge, creative, resourceful and able to achieve their full potential in this life and in the hereafter. I try to expose them to what I deem to be the essentials, it’s not what I would call homeschooling, as my eldest is in school. I do network with other homeschoolers for information and support, and I do support homeschooling or any other means of education that is rather student-centric, hands-on, and apprentice-type.

We are still tinkering with the classical method, Montessori, and Islam is the basis for all, it is the way of life.
